All in Tool Review
Did you know wood moves? Well actually it expands and contracts depending on the humidity in the air. You see wood is hygroscopic… meaning it is a substance that can gain for loose water depending on the surrounding air’s humidity. So, again varying levels of moisture in the air surrounding the wood can cause it to shrink or expand.
A silent air compressor? What’s the catch? That is what I wanted to find out, so when as part of The Home Depot’s ProSpective Program I was able to review this tool… I jumped at the opportunity. Air compressor pun intended… haha. But not only for that Oscar, my fur baby, is deathly afraid of my current air compressor. He hates it so much that he even know what it looks like now and if it is out and turned off he still runs away. So let’s see what this compressor is all about.
I have been itching to try and make some abstract art similar to what I have seen Fromaseed make. He is an AWESOME turner, power carver and artist. If you haven’t seen his work you should definitely check it out. Well, when Diablo sent me out some of there new saw blades to try, one being the Rough In/Scrolling Carbide Reciprocating Saw Blade I knew this would be a great time to try my hand at some abstract art, because I don’t have a band saw this blade should help me cut some curves and radius’ using my reciprocating saw… yup you heard that right!

And there are a few tools I totally wish I had known about sooner or wish I would have spend the money to buy them because they helped me so much in the shop. They not only by upped the quality of my builds, but most importantly the safety of my building and efficiency!

If you have been following along for a while now you know that my workshop has changed drastically over the years and that I have made some pretty big improvements recently with the addition of my Modular Miter Station. I think the whole shop improvements thing is going to be a never-ending process as I am always looking at ways to improve my workflow and get more organized. So when Nite Ize offered to send me their DIY Life’s Adventure Kit I was excited to see what I could do with it.
When the people over at Worx Tools reached out to me to do a review of The Pegasus folding work table I thought what in the heck will I do with it? I had just built all new workbenches in my shop. But I said yes and I am super glad I did. It is a great addition to any shop, but also for any homeowner to have around the house for all those DIY projects. Plus, I think it would be a great workbench for those doing install work. Lets get into the reasons why….
